Loops – Kinetic Installation at the Anna Seiler House, Bern

The installation Loops follows the daily rhythms and movements of the people within the building. It creates an atmospheric experience and symbolically reflects the values of the Insel Gruppe: humanity, quality, collaboration, expertise, innovation and integrity.

Across a 23-metre-high atrium, 24 illuminated rings move precisely and continuously through the space. They are driven by 48 custom-made servo winches, developed and manufactured by MKTe — safe, durable and designed specifically for continuous operation.
