SYNCHRONICITY

Synchronicity is one of the first kinetic installations in the retail environment. Over a length of more than 50 m, 175 convex, perfectly polished copper-plated discs move two-dimensionally through the space. In a harmonious choreography, they merge into one of the largest kinetic sculptures in a unique lightweight and organic-looking three-dimensional overall composition.

In this installation, high precision, safety and continuous operation were the primary requirements that had to be fulfilled.
